My current day job as a full stack software engineer. CQL is a custom ecommerce development agency that specializes in building high-quality, scalable, and secure ecommerce solutions. In my day to day role, I work with a team of talented developers with technologies such as React, Node.js, Next.js, TypeScript, ASP.NET, and more. I use platforms such as AWS, Azure, Shopify Plus, BigCommerce, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud, to build solutions that are the best fit for our clients.
Some work that I have done includes:
- Re-engineered product bundling logic and frontend/backend system architecture for Shopify site to handle over 10x traffic increase, supporting $2M+ launch day revenue
- Engineered complex frontend solutions using React, TypeScript, and Next.js, building responsive user interfaces and implementing modern frontend and backend architectures for multiple client projects across diverse industries.
- Spearheaded completion of AWS-hosted recurring billing and subscription management system, with minimal handoff from previous tech team, independently finishing implementation of RESTful API endpoints, automated order creation, and tax calculations, written in Node.js and TypeScript
- Led creation of custom CMS components to meet business requirements of clients, allowing business users the flexibility to easily configure their content according to their needs
- Collaborated closely with design team to implement responsive web interfaces from Figma design comps, translating visual mockups into pixel-perfect, cross-device compatible React components, CMS components, and custom JavaScript functionality
- Spearheaded accessibility improvements by advocating for users with disabilities, conducting accessibility audits, and implementing solutions that ensured all users could navigate and interact with client websites effectively
